School bond failing once again

March 12, 2008

UPDATE

Early polling results in the $189.6 million Snoqualmie Valley School District bond election show the proposition failing for a third time.

As of March 14, 7,449 ballots — or 37.31 percent of registered voters — had been counted. Of those, only 58.08 percent voted for the bond. A 60 percent approval is needed for the bond to pass.

In past elections, the bond failed to pass with approval votes of 57.8 and 58.6 percent.

This information will be updated as it becomes available.
