The Mount Si football team will scrimmage Bothell at 6 p.m. June 14 at Mount Si High School Stadium.
Each team will alternate 10 play sets, starting at the 40 yard line. No score will be kept and no official time will be kept.
Bothell was the 2007 KingCo 4A champion and state 4A runner-up.
Strength camp starts this month
An annual strength and conditioning camp for athletes from the third grade through high school is scheduled to begin later this month at Mount Si High School.
John Zanas, strength and conditioning coach for the Wildcat football team, leads the camp. It begins June 24 for high-school-aged boys, July 7 for high-school-aged girls, July 7 for middle-school students and
July 8 for elementary students.
The program is two days a week and lasts either seven or eight weeks. Cost for elementary students is $50 for two weeks, $100 for four weeks and $130 for six weeks. Cost for middle-school students is $110 for four weeks and $140 for six weeks. Cost for high-school girls is $120 and high-school boys is $140.

Chris E. Ochoxner was born July 13, 1971 to Duane and Wiltrud Ochoxner in Snoqualmie. He died June 4, 2008 in Auburn
Chris attended Mount Si High School where he graduated with honors and loved playing on the football team. He also enjoyed skiing, hiking and traveling. Chris was an entrepreneur and operated his own commercial and residential painting business.
He will be remembered for his huge and caring heart, his good sense of humor, his positive attitude, and that he was always willing to give a hand and help out wherever he was needed.
Chris is survived by his mother Wiltrud Ochoxner of Auburn and his sister Heidi M. (husband Jack) Lewis of North Bend. He was a proud uncle and loved his nephews: Austin, Carson, Casey and Marshall. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles in Austria and his uncle Col. CM Backes of Milwaukee, WI and his cousins: Kyle, Kelly-Ann and Craig Backes. He will be missed by many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Duane in 1984.
A celebration of his life and memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. June 14, 2008 at Mount Si Lutheran Church, 411 NE 8th, North Bend, WA 98045.

There will be a free children’s safety fair, sponsored by SnoValley Indoor Playground, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 13 at Si View Community Center. Free bike helmets will be distributed to the first 80 children, safety materials will be handed out and local firefighters and police officers will be in attendance. Kids can have their helmets and bicycles checked for safety and can compete in an obstacle course that teaches them how to navigate on their bike safely at the Fourth Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 14 at Cascade View Elementary in Snoqualmie . Each child who completes the course will receive a certificate and a T-shirt. Free food will be on hand.

Learn about the history of Snoqualmie with instructor Dave Battey. Using historic photographs from the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Society, Battey shares a history of the city of Snoqualmie, from the ice age through the 1950s. This summer camp at Si View Community Center is for school ages kindergarten through fifth grade. It explores sports, swimming, arts, crafts and outdoor games, and has weekly field trips. The tournament supports the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Hub, which provides opportunities to more than 4,000 young people in the Snoqualmie Valley.
