North Bend Elementary
The board is reviewing grants from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 14.
Full day and morning kindergarten will take a walking fieldtrip to the North Bend Fire Station at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 13. The afternoon kindergarten will go at 1 p.m.
Opstad Elementary
Vision and hearing testing will take place Oct. 21.
Snoqualmie Elementary
There is a PTSA Board meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 14.
Vision and hearing testing will take place Oct. 14-15.
Sahara Pizza night is Oct. 16.
Cascade View Elementary
The Giraffes Early Childhood Conference will be held from 8 a.m. — 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room Oct. 11. Contact Tim Ryan at 206-280-3458 or tryteo@comcast.net to register.
Snoqualmie Middle School
The penny drive begins Oct. 13.
The PTSA Fall Fundraiser kick-off is Oct. 13.
The Fall Activity Blitz will take place during lunch Oct. 15.
Picture retakes will take place Oct. 15.
The school dance will be held from 7-9 p.m.
Twin Falls Middle School
An informational meeting about the spring break trip to Washington, D.C. will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 9.
The pep band will play at Mount Si High School Oct. 10. Time TBA.
Picture retakes will take place Oct. 17.
A community-wide open house will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 30.
Chief Kanim Middle School
A PTSA Board meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15.
The PTSA costume dance will be held Oct. 24.
Mount Si High School
Cheer camp for grades first through fifth is Oct. 10. The Mount Si Cheerleaders will lead cheers, dancing, games and crafts. Campers are invited to join cheerleaders at a half-time performance that night against Mercer Island. Go to the MSHS Web site to register.
Picture retakes will take place Oct. 14.
Students taking the Dec. 6 SAT need to register by Nov. 5. Visit www.collegeboard.com.
Students taking the Dec. 13 ACT need to register by Nov. 7. Visit www.actstudent.org.
The PSAT exam will be held in the auditorium from 9 a.m. — 12 p.m. Oct. 18.
Snoqualmie Valley School District
There is a School Board meeting in the district office at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9.
There will be no school on Learning Improvement Day Oct. 10.
The PTSA is holding a council general meeting at the district office from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 13.
National School Lunch week is Oct. 13-17.
The Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation has a meeting in the district office at 7 p.m. Oct. 15.
