A pair of Mount Si boys golfers needed a playoff to determine who had the better day at the Sea-King 3A District Tournament on Monday.
But there was never any question which team was best.
Wildcat Bradley Harrelson won medalist honors with a 70, beating out fellow teammate Jack Kelly and Seattle Prep’s Blake Snyder in a three-way playoff for first place. Kelly finished second.
Thanks to those strong placements — and three other Mount Si golfers in the top 20 — the Wildcats easily won the team standings with 70 points. Seattle Prep was runner-up with 59.25, while defending state champion O’Dea was third with 31.5.
After Harrelson and Kelly, Mike Rutledge was next for Mount Si in 10th place with a 76. Teammate Matt Prewett finished with a 79 for 15th, while Luke Dietsch was 19th with an 80 and Bryce Karalus 27th with an 82.
