Thanksgiving Meal – Nov. 27
The Calvary Chapel of North Bend will serve a free Thanksgiving meal to anyone interested from 12-3 p.m. A bus will provide rides for those in need, picking people up at the Fall City Tesoro Gas Station at 1 and 2:30 p.m., the North Bend Truck Town Chapel at 1 and 2:45 p.m., the North Bend Ace Hardware Store at 1:20 and 2:30 p.m. and the Snoqualmie Centennial Park by the big log at 1:45 and 2:45 p.m. For more information call the North Bend Calvary Chapel, 1556 Boalch Ave NW, at 888-3165.
Santa Train – Nov. 29-Dec. 20
The Santa Train will make its way to the Train Museum in Snoqualmie and North Bend Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14 and 20. The train will depart hourly from North Bend on those dates from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are required for each person 2 years and older. Tickets are already on sale. Tree lighting – Dec. 4
A tree lighting and holiday sleigh rides will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Railroad Park in downtown Snoqualmie. There will be an appearance by Santa and horse-drawn carriage rides, as well as cookies, cider and caroling. Organizers are asking those attending to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Encompass Respectful Giving Campaign.
Santa Claus – Dec. 6-7
Santa Claus will make an appearance from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Jeff Warren State Farm Office, 7726 Center Blvd., Suite 125 in Snoqualmie. Santa will be available for free photos with children. For more information, call 396-1055.
Santa and Mrs. Claus – Dec. 6
The Mount Si Senior Center in North Bend will host breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. For more information, call 888-3434.
Musical – Dec. 6
Choirs from the Snoqualmie Methodist Church, Mount Si High School and three Mormon congregations will team up for a free holiday musical from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, North Bend Chapel, 527 SW Mount Si Blvd.
More Santa – Dec. 7
Eastside Fire & Rescue’s Station 74 in Preston will host a Christmas Open House. Santa will be on hand for photo opportunities with children and firefighters will hand out free give-away bags of candy and treats to the children. Free tours of the station also will be provided. Rudolph Engine, a fire engine decorated for Christmas with a sleigh, will be on display.

Hello…..I was wondering if you have a contact name and number for the person who does the Holiday Sleigh rides? I would like to coordinate a Girl Scout troop event and would love to do a sleigh ride in NB or Snoqualmie in December.
