Agnes Tellinghuisen, of Fall City, passed away on April 24, 2009 at Overlake Memorial Hospital in Bellevue. She was 91 years of age.

She was born in Freeman, S.D., one of 12 children and the daughter of John and Myrtle Berg. In 1938, she married John Tellinghuisen in DeSmit, South Dakota and the couple moved to Fall City in 1948.  They raised two daughters, both of Fall City, Joyce Sampson and Judy Tessandore.

Agnes worked for several years at Koba Farms, until she became employed at Fall City Elementary School where she worked as a custodian, until she retired in 1980. She was an avid seamstress and excellent cook, who fed anyone who came to her house.

Agnes is survived by her two daughters, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Internment will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Redmond, Washington. A private graveside service with the family is planned.  Friends are encouraged to view photos and share memories in the family’s online guestbook at www.flintofts.com

Arrangements are by Flintofts Funeral Home & Crematory.
