‘Yes’ for Husa
In response to last week’s profile of Kevin Bardsley, with a sister who is a second grade teacher, a brother-in-law who is principal of a high school and a cousin who teaches high school chemistry, all in different districts and schools, I know that cell phones and video games are not part of any school curriculum. Mr. Bardsley may have served the Sno-Valley parent well had he recommended she limit her child’s cell phone and video game time. Read more

Snoqualmie Valley voters have few choices this year, with only one City Council – in Snoqualmie – and two school board seats being contested. Two school board seats, five City Council seats – three in Snoqualmie and two in North Bend – and the Snoqualmie mayor’s position are uncontested. At least Valley voters have quality candidates to choose from in the contested elections. However, the number of uncontested seats is troubling. Democracy requires competition to thrive. Read more
