Mother of Snoqualmie woman injured in car crash hopes witnesses comes forward

KIRO TV reports that the mother of a Snoqualmie woman who nearly died when she tried to avoid a tarp on Interstate 90 hopes witnesses will contact the Washington State Patrol.

The driver, 37-year-old Lory Moon is at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Her mother, Diane Moon told KIRO TV that her pelvis was broken in three places. 

Moon crashed around 5:50 p.m. on New Year’s Eve after swerving to avoid a large tarp, state patrol officials told KIRO TV.
