Wildcats win KingCo 3A gymnastics title

Mount Si senior Georgia Reynolds took the all-around title as she led the Wildcats to the KingCo 3A championship at home Feb. 6. Reynolds won with 36.5 points.
Reynolds took first on the uneven parallel bars (9.175) and second place on the balance beam (9.2) and vault (8.8). She has finished third in all-around at the past three years’ 3A/2A state meets.
Senior Rachel Karavias finished first in the floor routine (9.275).
Mount Si won the championship with 163.05 points, trailed by Bellevue with 154.675, Liberty (144.075) and Mercer Island (136.725).
Bellevue junior Emilie Chinen took first on vault (9.35) and finished third in the all-around standings with 35.025. Her teammate and fellow junior, Emily Lopez, finished second in the all-around with 35.325.
