According to unofficial results posted on the King County Elections Web site, Snoqualmie Valley School District’s two levies on the Feb. 9 special election ballot are both passing with 60 percent of votes counted. A levy that would protect King County Library System’s budget from substantial cuts through 2011 picked up some ground and is passing with a thin margin.
As of Feb. 11, more than 60 percent of votes counted were ‘yes’ votes for the district’s maintenance and operations levy. The district’s technology replacement levy was winning by a similar margin, with just over 60 percent of votes counted.
Election officials have counted just over 35 percent of total possible ballots cast in Snoqualmie Valley.
