Wildcats pitcher Josh Kimborowicz made quick work of Interlake April 8 in Mount Si’s 13-3 win. The lanky right-hander worked quickly and efficiently on the rain-soaked mound, inducing wild swings and weak ground balls for three innings.

New course record set in Mount Si 50-mile race

Paige Longdon cruises past Mount Si on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in North Bend during the Mount Si Relay on April 11. Teams of five run a total of 59 miles between Rattlesnake Lake and Carnation, with the start and finish at Snoqualmie Elementary School. Defending champion Ryne Melcher set a new course record for the Mount Si 50-mile ultra run April 11, finishing the course in 5 hours, 54 minutes, 15 seconds.
The 50-mile run, a 50-kilometer run and 59-mile relay race drew around 700 runners.

At one year old, Eric was not mimicking his parents’ sounds or facial expressions, like most babies do, said his mother, Amy Helm. She and her husband enrolled him in language classes, but it didn’t help.
