After scoring four runs in the first inning, the Wildcats watched Bellevue come roaring back with five runs in the third inning. But the Wolverines weren’t the only ones with a five-run inning.
Mount Si took back the lead when it put up five runs in the fifth inning.
Starter Cooper Helm came out in the third inning due to a high pitch count. Reece Karalus came in relief and held Bellevue to one run over 4 1/3 innings. He had five strikeouts.
Senior Rossco Castagno had two runs batted in, a double and a stolen base.
