A North Bend man faces child pornography charges after technicians at a computer repair store found allegedly illegal images on his home computer.

King County prosecutors say Jayson Todd Lottermoser took his computer to a Bellevue store after it had crashed, according to charging documents. A store employee contacted police after finding what prosecutors say is child pornography while trying to recover information stored on the computer’s damaged hard drive.

Bellevue police officers claim that the 25-year-old Lottermoser admitted he had knowingly downloaded the images using a peer-to-peer file-sharing network, according to court documents.

A forensic analysis of his computer found 156 sexual images of children aged 8 to 13, including photos of a child being forcibly raped, according to charging papers.

A Bellevue detective claims Lottermoser said he had been looking for images of a Harry Potter character and the Olsen twins, among others, according to the documents.

He’s been charged with one count of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and he has not been jailed.
