Clairissa Martinez and Robert Schaaf, both of North Bend, are engaged to be married Oct. 2, 2010, at Cannon Beach, Ore.
Martinez is the daughter of Dr. Cherri Hoyden and Ed Hoyden, of Bothell. Schaaf is the son of Mike and Deidre Schaaf, of Redmond.
