North Bend City Council approves new finance director

The North Bend City Council has confirmed the appointment of Maryann Nelson as the city’s new finance director.
She follows Elena Montgomery, who retires Sept. 1 after 20 years of working for the city.
Nelson has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington, and more than 20 years of experience in banking. She has served as the chief financial officer for three local banks.
