The Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth selected children from across the nation, including the Valley, as part of their Global Talent Search.
Megan McCullough, Rachel Donka, Conner Drake, Renee Spear and Emily Reitz, all of North Bend, were among those chosen.
The Center for Talented Youth, created in 1979, seeks and develops young talent in many fields, including the arts and athletics, through summer programs, distance education and family-oriented events.
