Si View rec league basketball beginning

The Si View Metro Parks District’s Winter Recreational Basketball League is about to begin.
The league is open for children in grades K – 12.
In addition to practices and games, the league offers skill sessions for players each week. Skill evaluation sessions will be held in early December.
The season runs from early January through late February.
The parks district is also looking for more coaches. Positions are available for recreational teams, requiring little or no experience with a time commitment of two and a half hours a week.
Positions are also available for travel team coaches, which require some basketball coaching or playing experience, and a time requirement of four to five hours during the week and three to four hours on weekends.
