Farash to give his perspective of Vietnam War Thursday

Art Farash, retired Chief Warrant Officer, will present an “on the ground” perspective of the Vietnam War at 7 p.m. April 11  at the American Legion Hall, 38625 SE River Street, Snoqualmie, according to an announcement from Post Commander Rick Woodruff.

Farash spent one year with the 4th Infantry Division near Pleiku, Vietnam and was a senior interrogator at the Prisoner of War interrogation center.  He will present some photographs showing scenes of the division base camp and the countryside in the Central highlands of Vietnam

    This will not really be giving a “perspective” on the Vietnam War, just photographs of places and things. I was a Regular Army NCO and had no “perspectives” either then nor now, it was just a job.
