Election results: Take two
November 6, 2013
In the second round of election results released shortly before 4 p.m. Nov. 6, Dariel Norris, Gene Pollard, Marci Busby, Matt Larson and Heather Munden continue to lead.
Norris, who is running for position two on the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital board, leads 2,974 over incumbent Dick Jones with 1,516.
Pollard’s lead over Kevin Hauglie for position four has narrowed slightly. He is still ahead 2,598 to 2,132. Pollard, who already is a hospital commissioner, is running against Hauglie in an effort to change the makeup of the board.
On the King County Elections website, the hospital race is listed under Public Hospital District Number 4.
Incumbent Marci Busby still holds a slim lead over parent activist David Spring in the Snoqualmie Valley School Board race. Busby has 2,581 votes to Spring’s 2,357.
In the City of Snoqualmie mayor’s race, incumbent Matt Larson is ahead of challenger Ed Pizzuto, 1065 to 376. Heather Munden leads 1,002 to 411 over Terry Sorenson for the only contested city council seat in Snoqualmie.
The Si View Metropolitan Park operation and maintenance levy increased its approval rating, 2,028 yeses to 594 nays.
Because this was an election by mail, it will take several days for all ballots to be received and counted by the King County Bureau of Elections. Updated results will continue to be released periodically.
